I still can't get over Ghost Rider 2 with Nic cage. The whole advantage the villain had over Ghost Rider was that he had no soul which = Ghost rider can't kill him. But the villains whole objective was to steal a scroll with a 1000 souls on it and absorb it to be unstoppable. And he does just that. Successfully. Then immediately Ghost Rider grabs him and eats all 1000 souls, effectively killing the villain instantly. Who the fuck wrote that and thought that make sense 😂

Ghost Rider is such a Badass and all around cool character. It’s a damn shame they didn’t do the character justice in both films. Ghost Rider’s power set is so badass. The fact he can feed off a persons sins through his use of the Penance Stare and he can control and create fire with Pyrokinesis, just adds to his cool factor. I had no idea Ghost Rider was so powerful. It sounds like he’s become one of Marvel’s heavy hitters over the years. I really enjoy these comic related videos and with that being said you definitely need to do a wiki video on Doctor Strange. He’s also immensely powerful and because of that I would’ve never thought Ghost Rider could beat him in battle but apparently he can.

Fun fact, The Punisher has been penance stared three times the first time it worked, the second time was after Deadpool healed/purified Frank with an angelic feather causing the stare to fail, and the third time the stare worked causing Frank to vomit

I never really thought about it, but Hulk and Ghost Rider are very similar in the sense they both at least at one point had alternate personas they couldn't control although in Hulk's case I guess the issue is multiplied by 5.

I would love to see/read a piece of ghost rider media wherein Johnny and the spirit can communicate similar to naruto and kurama, and to have them in a fight where Johnny cant win, so he gives control to the spirit with the line of "I cant win on my own, spirit, go full auto"

Ghost-Rider's Penance Stare is *extremely* inconsistent. Like, even though we all know of that scene where he does it to Punisher, and Punisher doesn't care, it's far more likely he just let Frank live since it's worked on him in future comics as well as like minded people who also did not care about what they've done. It's not necessarily just a weapon, Rider also has control over what happens to the person when they're being stared at, he can choose to let them live. Also the time he did it Deadpool, he was laughing about it before it happened but seeing all the shit Deadpool did basically knocked out Johnny and when he woke up, he saw Deadpool depressed and moping and asked Johnny basically what it meant to be a good person.

It worked on Frank in the 90s too, that whole deal in Thunderbolts was because Deadpool healed Frank with an Angel's feather a few issues before that, cause it made Frank puke when Ketch stared later on, and Deadpools resistance may be because he was fused with Madcap around that time and Madcap was always immune to the stare

When you mentioned Nick Cage is a big Ghost Rider fan, I had to look it up. Not only is he a big comics fan, but imagine my surprise to learn his real name isn't Nicholas Cage at all! It's Nicholas Coppola -- nephew of THAT Coppola (Francis Ford) -- and he changed his name so no one would think he was getting jobs because of who his uncle was. But he changed his name to Nick Cage *after Luke Cage because that's how much he loves comics.* Okay, Nick Cage just got 25% cooler in my book.

I don't buy some of those stats. In the World War Hulk storyline, Strange calls Ghost Rider to take care of the Hulk in his strongest form, World Breaker Hulk, because the Ghost Rider was on earth the only force capable to deal with him. But...Ghost Rider determined that the Hulk was in his right to have his revenge. 🤣

Ghost Rider is insane, but I prefer the Cosmic Ghost Rider, which is basically just The Punisher being basically reincarnated as the Ghost Rider, escapes Valhalla, and then goes back in time to kill baby Thanos, but instead just decides to raise him as his son, and later there is literally alternate Thanos who is also The Punisher. Thanos Punisher is much, much worse than regular Thanos, and everyone is trying to kill The Cosmic Ghost Rider because of this insanely stupid decision.

Actually the hellfire that surrounds the Ghostrider skeleton is his musc muscles. Technically the only parts of Ghostrider that are skeleton are the parts that are not covered in leather.
